Family meetings inspired by nature

The beauty of nature and natural phenomena have inspired artists for centuries. However, reusing packaging or small everyday items helps us reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. These two elements intertwine in the theme of family meetings in our Shopping Centre, which will take place on selected Saturdays from February to June.

As part of the events, you will be able to take part in eco-workshops and a fair of ecological products and handicrafts.

We invite you to the workshops in the arcade of our Shopping Centre from 12.00 to 17.00. In turn, stands of local craftsmen and artists will be available from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Free entrance!

We invite you to the first meeting on Saturday, February 24th.

During family creative workshops titled: “Winter landscapes” will be acrylic paintings on canvas. The theme of the works will be the beauty of winter nature. This year, the weather is varied, which will give participants of the painting workshops a lot of opportunity to show off their skills. The instructors will explain the technique of painting with acrylic paints and tell you how to combine colours to achieve the planned effect.

The next classes in the “Green ambitions” series will be held on:

• March 23rd – Easter decorations made of wood – colourful Christmas decorations will be made from sticks, felt and natural decorations,
• April 20th – Rainbow stained glass windows – participants will be able to use light-transmitting tissue paper, cardboard and paper to make these impressive decorations,
• May 18th – Decoupage decorations – decorations will be created on jars, bottles and other glass vessels using the decoupage technique. The created works can be a nice gift for Mother’s Day,
• June 22nd – Puppets – theatre lovers will be able to create puppets themselves, which will then play in a home show.

Anyone can take part in creative workshops, regardless of age.
The family workshops will be accompanied by a fair of ecological products, where local suppliers will present their offers. It will be an opportunity to buy something unique and meet artists from the area.
